What was the world's largest billboard?
In the late 1990's next to the Yangtze River in
Chongqing municipality in southwest China the world's largest billboard was
built.The first advertisement on the
world's largest billboard was for..... well, no one.
The area is so foggy that most of the time the
billboard can't be seen and as a result it didn't attract any advertisers so in 2001 it was decided to tear the billboard down,
thus
ending the saga of the world's largest billboard.
In case you're wondering, it measured 300 meters
long by 45 meters high.
