What is the world's largest army?

The world's largest army belongs to the People's Republic of China.

China's army consists of almost 3 million troops and another 4 million or so reservists and paramilitary.

Percentage wise North Korea's army is made up of over 49% of it's population, but only numbers just over 1 million troops.

For comparison, the U.S. army consists of about 1.5 million troops which accounts for just under 5% of the population.
