Who is the world's last Titanic survivor?

As we all know the Titanic sank on April 10 1912 and it's coming up on 100 years since that faithful night.

With that in mind we were curious as to who was the last living survivor of that ill-fated journey.

To our surprise we found that as of August 07 2006 there are still two people that were aboard the Titanic that are still alive and well today.

Barbara Joyce West was born on May 24 1911 in Bournemouth, Dorset, England and was 10 months and 22 days old when the Titanic sank. She is now living in Truro, England.

Elizabeth Gladys Dean, better known as Milvina, was born February 2 1912 and was only 10 weeks old  when the Titanic sank, the youngest of all the passengers onboard. She now lives in Southampton, England.

Barbara Joyce Dainton (née West) passed away on October 16, 2007 leaving Elizabeth Gladys Dean as the last Titanic survivor.
