So you've hit a good golf shot, but not good enough, now you
are 100 feet or more from the hole on the edge of the green. All of a sudden
this feeling overwhelms you, I'm going to sink this putt.
Here are some records to compare with for those that actually did sink it.
Both Jack Nicklaus and Nick Price sank 110 foot putts in official PGA
tournaments.
Bob cook sank a 140 foot putt in an amateur
Pro-Am.
St. Andrews 2003, Fergus Muir
hit his putter off of the tee on the fifth hole and 375 feet later the ball
dropped into the cup for a hole-in-one and the world's longest successful putt.
