August 30 2004 at Watauga Lake, TN USA's Jerry Hall slipped under the surface of the water aiming to break his 1992 record of 71 hours 39 minutes 40 seconds for the world's longest scuba dive.

Jerry Hall's goal was set at 94 hours 9 minutes.

.....But, just 1 day before he was expected to surface Jerry Hall announced he felt good and wanted to stay down longer.

September 03 2004, exactly 5 days after going under Jerry Hall surfaced with the new world's longest scuba dive record of 120 hours.
