record of 71 hours 39 minutes 40 seconds for the world's longest scuba dive.
Jerry Hall's goal was set at 94 hours 9 minutes.
.....But, just 1 day before he was expected to surface
Jerry Hall announced he felt good and wanted to stay down longer.
September 03 2004, exactly 5 days after going under
Jerry Hall surfaced with the new world's longest scuba dive record of 120 hours.
