Who has the longest NBA suspension in the world?

November 19 2004 a fight broke out at The Palace in Detroit, Michigan. This was no ordinary fight, nor was it scheduled.

After some pushing and shoving a fan threw a drink at Indiana Pacers' Ron Artest and the fight between players and fans was on.

In all 9 players received suspensions for a total of 143 games.

Ron Artest received the longest suspension. Not counting the 1 game mandatory suspension, he received an additional 72 games setting the mark for the world's longest NBA suspension at 73 games. He also lost $4,995,000.00 in salary.
