lost game 3 to the Chicago White Sox 7 - 5. Chicago broke the tie in the top of
the 14th on a home run by Geoff Blum with 2 out. Houston, then managed to
give the White Sox a 2 run lead with a bases loaded walk.
Houston did not manage to bring in any runs in the bottom of the 14th and the
world's longest MLB World Series game was over after a record 5 hours 41 minutes.

Now if you want to count rain delays, Game 5 of the
2008 World Series, which began on October 27, 2008, takes the cake. After taking a 3-1 lead in games, on the brink
of the World Series title, The Philadelphia Phillies jumped out to a quick lead
while the rain pounded down, with the game being official, there was no way it
would be called to give the Phillies the title, but luckily in the 6th inning
the Tampa Bay Rays managed to tie the score up at 2 runs each and the game was
