In October 2004 Volvo launched the
world's longest bus.
The B12M bus is manufactured by Volvo Buses in Brazil and boasts a 12 liter,
340 hp engine.
The bus is 26.8 meters or 87.93 feet long and can seat 300 passengers.
In all 30 buses have been ordered by
Viação Campo Belo of Brazil, one of
the largest bus operators in the Sao Paolo area.
