Free diving is an extreme sport where
dives try to descend as deep as possible on one breath of air.
There are many categories in free diving, and we prefer the 'no limits' category
as it is also the world's longest free dive in any category.
In the no limits category the diver uses a weighted sled and shoots back to
the surface using a lift-bag.
In July 2005 in Egypt Patrick Musimu of Belgium dove to a record 209.6
meters, claiming the world's longest free dive record by an un-phantom-able 40
meters.
