Binney & Smith Inc. introduced the
Crayola crayon in 1903 with a pack of eight crayons costing a nickel.
On October 11 2003 they celebrated their 100th birthday
by unveiling the world's longest crayon.
Made of blue crayon stubs sent in by children, they
world's longest crayon colored in at 15 feet.
The crayon is also 15 inches wide and weighs a colorful 1,500
pounds.
