THE WORLD'S LONGEST TORNADO
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What was the world's longest tornado?

Tornados, those violently rotating columns of air which descend from  the clouds.

In 1917 a tornado traveled from Missouri to Indiana lasting for 7 hours and 20 minutes and covered a destructive 293 miles.

Since they didn't have accurate tracking in 1917, the longest tornado on record is the Tri-State Tornado of 1925 which covered 219 miles through the Midwest.

The Tri-State Tornado reached a category F-5 on the Fujita Tornado Damage Scale.
