What is the world's longest NASCAR race track?

The longest NASCAR race track opened in Talladega, Alabama in 1969 and claimed the record for the longest NASCAR race track which it has held onto since.

The Talladega Superspeedway is 2.66 miles of super fast racing, in fact, when it first opened drivers boycotted the race because of the high speeds involved.

The first NASCAR race at the Talladega Superspeedway was held in 1969 and won by Richard Brickhouse.
