Who made the world's longest triple jump?

The triple jump is basically a hop, skip and jump where the jumper runs down a runway then jumps from one foot. He then has to land and jump of the same foot before landing once more and making his final leap.

The world's longest triple jump was made by Jonathan Edwards of the UK in Göteborg, Sweden on August 07, 1995.

Jonathan Edwards' hop, skip and jump covered a total of a sandy 18.29 meters.
