What was the world's longest Paddleboard Journey?

During National Beach Safety/Boat Safety Week in 2007, Wyatt Werneth, who is Coast Guard Reserve and the Chief of Brevard County Ocean Rescue, took a group of supporters and began his mission to set the world record for the longest paddleboard journey along the coast of Florida. After twenty-four hours of continuous boarding, Werneth achieved his goal 103 miles from Miami Beach to Jupiter Inlet. It was nine days before he reached Jacksonville Beach, making his entire journey a total 345 miles.

Wyatt not only completed his goal of setting the world record for the longest paddleboard up the coast of Florida but he also set two other world records as well. The second was the longest paddleboard distance in twenty-four hours; and he also set the world record for the greatest distance covered in nine days on a paddleboard.
