What animal has the longest life span in the world?

Giant tortoises do, although average life spans of giant tortoises are not yet recorded,  Harriet lived to a ripe old age of 152. It's a good thing Giant tortoises live as long as they do as they average only .25 MPH.

As far as plants go, Bristlecone pines found in the White Mountains in California, have the longest life span of any plant or tree. One such pine named the Methuselah tree is estimated to be 4,725 years old.

If you consider clams as animals and not just ingredients for soup then the quahog clam has quite an impressive life span. In 2007 scientists found a quahog clam off the north coast of Iceland which they believe to be 400 years old.
