Who flew in the most aircraft as a passenger?
There are some people who are
terrified of flying in an airplane and some people who thrive on it. Edwin A.
Shackleton from the United Kingdom was one of those that thrived on it.
He holds the record for the most
aircraft flown in as a passenger.
Shackleton took his first flight
in 1943 in a De Havilland DH 89 Dominie. Over the years he branched out to other
types of aircraft and among those were balloons, airships, helicopters, and
microlights.
As of January 2007, Shackleton had
flown in 841 different types of aircraft.
