Who has the most fingers and toes in the world?

Polydactyly is a condition that develops in a baby while they are still in their mother’s womb. When the hands are feet are being formed, they begin looking much like paddles. As they further progress, the paddle is divided into different sections, forming fingers and toes. In a baby that has polydactyly, something goes wrong during this process and additional fingers and toes can be formed, usually as a result of one finger being split into two.

There are two people who hold the record for having the most fingers and toes on a living person and they both carry the condition polydactyly. Pranamya Menaria has twelve fingers and thirteen toes, for a total of twenty-five. He lives in India and was born on August 10, 2005.

Devendra Harne also suffers from the same condition and also has twelve fingers and thirteen toes, also totalling twenty-five. He also lives in India and was born on January 9, 1995.
