The second James Bond movie was From Russia with
Love. It was produced by EON Productions, who claimed rights to every 007 novel
except for Casino Royale, which they would later acquire later anyway. The film
was released in 1963 with Terence Young as Director. In its day, it made just
about eighty million dollars at the box office, which in today’s dollars would
equal approximately half a billion dollars.
The character of James Bond himself also has some

second longest running and the second most successful film franchise in all of
