WORLD'S SMALLEST GRAND PIANO
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What is the world's smallest grand piano?
When you think of grand pianos,
you probably think of huge massive pianos that seem to have very long keyboards,
and of course, the top that is always popped open to reveal the soundboard
inside. Well, not all grand pianos are grand. And we’ve found one that has taken
the title as being the smallest grand piano in the world.
The world’s smallest grand piano was created by
Sega Toys Company. It has a total of 88 keys, all of which are 4 millimeters
wide – that’s less than a quarter of an inch! And of course, in true grand piano
fashion, its top is popped open to reveal miniature strings and a soundboard
inside. In total, the world’s smallest grand piano weighs 2.5 kilograms, or
about 5.5 pounds. But if you think that this tiny instrument is simply too small
to play, never fear. It comes with an auto-play function, so you don’t actually
have to be able to fit your fingers on the keys to enjoy its lovely sound! Or
simply leave it out as a conversation piece. There’s certainly lots to say about
this little thing!
