What is the world's smallest whale?

It may sound fishy, but the world's smallest whale is not much bigger than you or me.

The Dwarf sperm whale, also known as the Owen's pygmy sperm whale, measures in at 2.5 meters or just over 8 feet in length.

At birth they measure about 1 meter or 3 feet in length and by adulthood attain a tiny 7 - 9  feet.

The babies average a weight of 100 pounds and full grown they tip the fish scales as low as 300 pounds.
