What is the world's smallest boomerang?
You may just need binoculars to
watch this tiny boomerang in action. It only measures 48 mm or 1.8 inches long
and 45 mm or 1.77 inches wide. During the Australian National Boomerang
Championships in Melbourne, Vic on March 22nd 1997, it was thrown
successfully by Sadir Kattan.
The boomerang traveled past the
qualifying range of 20 meters or 65.6 feet and returned into the accuracy
circles at its beginning point.
Other tiny boomerangs have not successfully returned
to their beginning points to qualify.
