WORLD'S SMALLEST PARROT
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What is the world's smallest parrot?

The smallest parrots are found in western Ecuador and Northwestern Peru. They are called Pacific Parrolets and are about 4 inches to 5 inches long and weigh only 28 to 32 grams.

These beautiful parrolets are usually green with a bright blue back and a blue streak close to the eyes on males. Females, however, do not have a blue back, but do have the pretty blue streak by the eyes. These unique parrolets can live to be between 20 and 30 years old and have become a favorite for pets for many bird lovers.
