WORLD'S SMALLEST LIZARD
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What is the world's smallest lizard?

The world’s smallest lizard was discovered late in 2001 on a small Caribbean Island just off the coast of the Dominican Republic. It is not only the smallest lizard known in existence but is also the smallest of all 23,000 species of mammals, birds, and reptiles known to mankind.

This lizard, with the scientific name of Spaerodactylus ariasae, measures around 16 millimeters long, that is around ¾ of an inch. This is from the tip of nose to the tip of his tail! He is actually so small that he can curl up on an American dime.
