WORLD'S SMALLEST CHAIR SLEDGE
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What is the world's smallest chair sledge?
Not sure just how comfortable the
smallest chair sledge might be for an enjoyable sledding adventure but the Mayor
Tynset rode the sledge to celebrate Chair Sledge Day on March 30, 1996. This
tiny sledge is only 2.08 inches (530-mm) long by .97 inches (248-mm) high and
1.49 inches (380-mm) wide. It was created by NORO Industrier A/S of Tynset,
Norway.
The chair sledge is a popular traditional symbol of
Norway. The regular chair sledges are used by placing one foot on the footrest
of the sledge and the other is used to propel the sledge.
