There is a somewhat spooky old
wives tale that says if a mirror in a house falls and breaks by itself that
someone in the home will soon die. No one knows when this old wives tale was
started and what basis it has, but it’s generally considered to be untrue. Of
course, there is no guarantee that if your mirror falls off the wall by itself
today that you won’t meet your end tomorrow, but the occurrence would probably
be nothing more than a coincidence.
Of course, old wives tales of mirrors breaking are
numerous, but this is by far one of the spookiest because there is no one
breaking the mirror. Luckily, mirrors do not suddenly fall off walls on their
own all that often, and if they do, everyone in the house will likely be and
stay quite healthy for a long time!
