STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
Where is the lost treasure of the Spanish Fleet?
After a long winter, in 1591 77 Spanish ships left
Havana and headed home. The kind ordered that they were to leave all of the
treasure they had collected in Havana. At least this is how the legend goes. It
is believed that when this ship was lost at sea it did not have any treasures
aboard, that the treasure had been secretly shipped by smaller, faster boats
that could by pass the English blockade. The claim is that all the treasure was
returned to Spain.
It is believed that since the king did not have any
treasure aboard any of the 77 ships of the Spanish fleet, he was not worried
around trying to recover anything aboard the 29 ships that were at sea. It is
believed that all 29 of these ships sank somewhere after July 27, 1591 and many
of them off the coast of Florida.
Since no records were kept of passengerís
belongings only the treasure that was carried for the King of Spain, no one is
exactly sure what these ships could have held when the storms overtook them.
Below the waters around Florida lie secrets and treasures of all kinds whether
it is a kings treasure or personal belongings, it would be wondrous to find.
