Who won the Iditarod?

The Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race runs from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska and begins on the first Saturday in March.

The Iditarod is run on different routes but generally covers about 1,100 frigid miles.

The first Iditarod was held in 1973 which Dick Wilmarth of Alaska won with a time of 20 days 49 minutes and 41 seconds.
